Treow is a physical and digital experience that helps children understand grief through the metaphor of nature. It combines a memory kit, an interactive app, and a projected tree to create a gentle space for emotional expression and family support.
Children often experience grief before they have the words or tools to understand it. Treow explores how design can make conversations about death feel more approachable, supportive, and emotionally safe.
The process began with research into childhood grief, emotional education, and nature-based healing. Through storyboards, user journeys, UI design, 3D modeling, and motion tests, Treow evolved into a connected experience across physical, digital, and spatial touchpoints.
Treow turns memories into visual growth. Children can draw, write, or speak their feelings, which become leaves, branches, and colors within a growing tree. Parents can also add stories, creating a shared memory space over time.

This project taught me how to design with sensitivity, clarity, and care. It strengthened my ability to connect branding, UI/UX, product design, and storytelling into one emotional experience.
